Joanne started off her career as a background vocalist for various artist in the Haitian Gospel Industry, and outside of that performing her own musical talents Downtown Newark at an after school program called “Mic it Up.” She then participated in numerous talent shows and competitions, and one known competition, “Shout Down Drugs”  Where she won Second Place in the year 2012.  In 2013, Joanne auditioned for “The X-Factor” and luckily made it to Round 2. But life had other plans, and that did not stop her from continuing her music path!   September of 2013, Joanne (Jodee Singz) transitioned to Long Island University, the Brooklyn Campus where she continued her studies in Music Theory, Opera and Piano. Thus enhancing her abilities to produce music, and vocal production.   She started off by creating music covers from a variety of Artist posting them on her Youtube channel.   Joanne began to explore other options and introducing the world to Jodee Singz, which then led her back to doing background vocals for various bands and artist such as, “Vayb” one of the top most famous Haitian Bands, Jason Lumas also known as “J-Liu” with PGKD Records.   Joanne took a secondary path into the medical field, yet still keeping her thrive in music. She now embraces two of her most loved passion, both in music and medical.  

One of Jodee Singz greatest missions that she accepted, is for the world to connect through the different styles of Music that she produces and to create a vibration through all to unite as one.
